With Our Accreditations, You Know Bon Accord Glass Can Be Trusted
The standard of our work speaks for itself, but we can’t just use such a claim to convince customers to entrust Bon Accord Glass with their new window or door installation.
It would be naïve for us to think that way; customers deserve more proof than that.
We can just point towards the accreditations we hold as evidence of our installation abilities and exceptional service standards.
There are three of them in total – we are members of the GGF, Conservatory Association and Federation of Master Builders.
If you’re not aware of their significance, here is a summary of what they each mean:
GGF
Founded on 13th January 1977, the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) is a trade association representing companies who make, supply or fit, glass and glass related products.
They have an emphasis on consumer protection.
For a company to be granted with GGF approval, they must come through a strict vetting process where they are observed working and must demonstrate the very highest installation standards.
Once you become an Approved Installer, you must abide by the GGF’s own Code of Good Practice.
The GGF offers a conciliation service that customers can use for free if they find themselves unsatisfied with the work provided by a GGF member, which seeks to resolve disputes.
Conservatory Association
The Conservatory Association is an extension of the GGF, made up of leading manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of conservatories, making it one of the most influential groups in the UK glazing sector.
Federation of Master Builders
The largest trade association in the construction industry, the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) has existed since 1941.
They champion continuous improvement in building standards and inspect all prospective members to ensure they rank amongst Britain’s best builders.
Just like the GGF, the FMB has a Code of Conduct that members must comply with, which lays down the minimum standard practices expected.
