SURVEYING
Every job begins with a surveyor. A Bon Accord Glass-approved surveyor will visit your property to accurately map out and plan the project. They’ll record all the necessary measurements and pass this across to our manufacturing and installation teams.
The survey will also enable us to check the structural openings of your property and ensure that the proposed work is suitable to be carried out.
CARE & ATTENTION
Our installers will always look after your home. The Bon Accord Glass fitters will lay down dust sheets where required and work with you to move any valuables and items away from the working area.
And we’ll leave your home as we found it. Before we mark any job as being completed, we’ll conduct a thorough clean and remove all debris and mess. Only then can we check things off!
FITTING
Your existing frames will be removed and, where possible, recycled. We’ll also clean the working area so that it’s free from any old sealant and other materials.
Then, your brand-new frames will be carefully installed by one of our Bon Accord Glass fitting teams.
GLAZING
Once the frames are in place, your glazed units will then be fitted. These panes will be secured into place and if any trims are required, these will be measured and installed.
To complete the process, both the windows and the frames will be thoroughly cleaned to remove any residual dirt and grit before being firmly sealed in place.
EXPERT FINISH
Finally, your new windows will be cleaned again and a layer of silicone beading will be applied to ensure a clean and watertight finish.
Once that’s done, you can stand back and marvel at your new Bon Accord Glass windows and see how they’ve transformed your home.
