Perform the following test on your windows to see if heat is escaping through them. Stand close with a candle and watch for any flickering of the flame. Cracks in the sealant and any sign of moisture or mould could also signify heat loss.

New doors will have a significant impact as they are required to have a minimum U-value of 1.8 W/m² so that they comply with UK Building Regulations. 

The lower the U-value, the better the insulating performance of a door, and our replacement doors have a suitably low U-value figure, which may result in them helping you generate great energy savings.
