Home extensions and sunrooms can have a very similar external appearance with their tiled or slated roofs. The technical difference is in the door between the main house and the extension. If it is the ‘thermally broken’ i.e. an external door, then it is a sunroom. If it has an internal door or is open plan it is technically an extension i.e. an additional room to the main house. This is only relevant to your own requirements and the building warrants, which Bon Accord Glass will take care of on your behalf.
